Surjagad Ispat plans to establish Sponge Iron in Maharashtra

Surjagad Ispat is embarking on an ambitious initiative to establish a Sponge Iron unit with an impressive capacity of 4 X 650 (2600) tpd in the picturesque Wadlpeth village nestled within the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra.

Encompassing a sprawling expanse of 342.88 acres (138.76 ha), this forward-looking project is not just confined to Sponge Iron production but also includes the installation of a cutting-edge induction furnace with a capacity of 7.50 lakh tpa, a state-of-the-art rolling mill with a matching capacity of 7.50 lakh tpa, and a robust 100 MW captive power plant.

Beyond its technological advancements, the project holds great promise for the local community as it is poised to generate employment opportunities for approximately 1,200 individuals. Surjagad Ispat's commitment to both innovation and socio-economic development marks a significant stride towards a sustainable and prosperous future.
