Syrma SGS to Assemble Gigabyte Server Boards in Chennai

Giga Computing, a subsidiary of Taiwan’s Gigabyte Group specializing in high-performance computing and data center solutions, has partnered with Indian electronics manufacturer Syrma SGS Technology Limited to begin local server production in Chennai.

Under the collaboration, Syrma SGS will assemble Gigabyte server motherboards at its Chennai facility, advancing India’s “Make in India” initiative while strengthening Giga Computing’s supply-chain footprint in South Asia.

Initial production will center on enterprise-grade boards such as the GIGABYTE MS73-HB0 and MZ33-AR1—key components for data centers and enterprise computing—addressing the rising demand for IT hardware in India.
