Tata Power & Ocean Sun Bring Next-Gen Floating Solar to India

Tata Power has partnered with Norwegian renewable technology firm Ocean Sun to introduce innovative membrane-based floating solar technology to India. As part of this collaboration, a 300 kWp pilot project will be launched at Tata Power’s Mulshi reservoir in Maharashtra to test the technology's performance, cost-competitiveness, and scalability. This initiative supports India's broader clean energy goals, aligning with central government incentives to tap into the nation's estimated 102 GW floating solar potential.
