Telangana’s ₹675 Crore Plan for New Young India Residential Schools

The Telangana Education & Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation has invited bids for the construction of Young India Integrated Residential School (YIIRS) complexes across the state under Package Number 7.

This package includes five distinct projects aimed at strengthening educational infrastructure and providing modern residential facilities for students. The proposed YIIRS locations are: Ghanpur Station and Palakurthi in Jangaon district, Parkal in Warangal Rural district, and Wardhannapet in Warangal district.

The scope of work involves the design and construction of complete school campuses—including academic blocks, dormitories, and supporting infrastructure—to support the state’s residential schooling model.

Valued at approximately ₹675 crore, the initiative is part of Telangana’s broader mission to improve educational access and welfare infrastructure in rural and semi-urban areas.

The deadline for bid submission is 23 September 2025.
