Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology Plan to Expand Educational Institute Complex in Punjab

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) is coming up with an Educational Institute Complex Project at Bhadson Road, Patiala, Punjab. The project is expected to cost 510 crores and will have a built-up area of 1,008,194.06 sq.m. 

The new project will provide world-class educational facilities to students in the region. The project will include new classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and other facilities. The project will also provide new housing and dining facilities for students and faculty.

As on November 2023, The project is now in the stage of construction being started. The completion of the project's work has reached the 30% mark. The work on the project will be finished by December of 2025.
