Vikas Metaliks & Energy Limited is coming up with a new Sponge Iron and Captive Power Plant (WHRB) & (FBC) Project at Bartori, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The project is expected to cost 125 crores and will have a capacity of 8 MW, 1,20,000 TPA (tonnes per annum) of sponge iron, 1,35,000 TPA of induction furnace, and 90,000 TPA of rolling mill.
The new project will help Vikas Metaliks & Energy Limited to expand its production capacity and meet the growing demand for steel in India. The company is a leading steel producer in India, and this project will further strengthen its position in the market.

As on November 2023, The project is now in the stage of construction being started. The completion of the project's work has reached the 25% mark. The work on the project will be finished by December of 2024.
