The Future is Fast: Hyderabad's Airport Metro Unveiled.

Hyderabad Airport Metro (HAML) plans to build two essential metro stations at Bahadurguda and Pedda Golconda as part of the 40 km Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) to Future City Metro Corridor. This project will transform 1,500 acres of government land into a state-of-the-art metro hub.

The metro route will start at the RGIA terminal, passing the proposed metro depot and following the airport's boundary along Mansanpally Road for 5 km to Pedda Golconda ORR Exit. From there, it will proceed as an elevated Metro line for 14 km along the Outer Ring Road (ORR) to the Tukkuguda and Raviryala Exits. Beyond the Raviryala Exit, the Metro will transition to an ‘At Grade’ rail corridor, positioned in the 22-meter-wide central portion of the 100-meter-wide Green Field Road being developed by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority. This segment will connect key areas like the under-construction Skill University at Meerkhanpet, Kongara Kalan, Lemur, Timmapur, Rachalur, Gummadavelli, and Panjaguda.

The metro will run at road level along the center of this wide road, bordered by three-lane carriageways and additional service roads, as per the suggestions of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. The project aims to offer a seamless 40-minute travel experience from RGIA to Future City.
