Mumbai Metro Line 3, which began operations last October between Aarey and BKC, is now set to extend to Worli Naka (Acharya Atre Chowk station), creating a 22 km underground corridor from Aarey to Worli.
Slated for completion in March, this extension will provide a much-needed alternative to Mumbai’s congested local trains and heavily trafficked roads. The new metro line promises a comfortable, air-conditioned, and seamless commute for thousands of commuters, with ticket prices ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 60.
With South Mumbai finally gaining its long-awaited metro connection, daily travel in the city is poised for a major shift, offering greater convenience and relief to residents.
