The Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), under the Ministry of Finance, has unveiled a three-year Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project pipeline comprising 852 projects across the Centre and states, with a combined estimated cost of over ₹17 lakh crore.
Aligned with the Union Budget 2025-26, this initiative aims to offer early visibility of upcoming PPP opportunities, enabling investors, developers, and stakeholders to plan and make informed investment decisions. Of the total projects, 232 projects worth ₹13.15 lakh crore will be implemented by eight central departments and infrastructure ministries, while 620 projects valued at ₹3.84 lakh crore will be undertaken by 20 states and Union Territories.
Leading the central projects is the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways with 108 projects amounting to ₹8.77 lakh crore, followed by the Ministry of Power and the Department of Water Resources. Among the states, Andhra Pradesh tops the list with 270 projects worth ₹1.16 lakh crore. The PPP pipeline is expected to boost infrastructure growth, attract investment, and enhance public-private collaboration across India.
