The Taj Legacy Arrives in Vellore: Introducing Vivanta

The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), the hospitality arm of the Tata Group and owner of the Taj brand, has announced the signing of a Vivanta hotel in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, marking its entry into the city.

The upcoming 100-key Vivanta Vellore will feature an all-day dining restaurant, a poolside lounge bar, and a banquet hall spanning over 2,500 sq. ft. Commenting on the development, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development at IHCL, said that Vellore’s status as a well-established education and industrial hub, along with improving connectivity and infrastructure, makes it an attractive hospitality market.

The hotel will be developed in partnership with the BBK Group. The signing underscores Vellore’s growing prominence in the hospitality sector and its increasing appeal to both business and leisure travellers.
