French electronics pioneer Thomson Computing (Metavisio) has embarked on a transformative journey to empower India's digital landscape with the launch of its extensive line of laptops and tablets. This groundbreaking initiative aligns with the Government of India's visionary "Make in India" program, marking a significant milestone in Thomson Computing's global expansion. Through a strategic partnership with Sahasra Group, a leading Indian electronics manufacturer, Thomson Computing will establish manufacturing facilities in Noida and Rajasthan, ensuring a robust supply chain and reduced production costs.

The collaboration with Sahasra Group will streamline the manufacturing process, enabling Thomson Computing to deliver its innovative laptops and tablets to Indian consumers at competitive prices. Starting from Rs 19,990 for laptops and Rs 12,990 for tablets, Thomson Computing is committed to making technology accessible to a wide range of users. In addition to catering to the domestic market, Thomson Computing and Sahasra Group are poised to expand their reach globally through exports. Leveraging the benefits of the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme 2.0, Thomson Computing will enhance its export competitiveness, further strengthening its position in the international market.

To ensure seamless distribution across India, Thomson Computing has partnered with ANA Business Ventures for government and enterprise business, Digital Compusystems for its retail (offline) stores, and other key players for ecommerce platforms.
