Thriveni Earth Movers planning to set up Manganese & Iron Ore Unit Project at Odisha

Thriveni Earth Movers Private Limited intends to build a manganese and iron ore unit near Laserda-Pacheri, Keonjhar, Odisha. The project is still in the planning stages, and no environmental permits have been obtained. The projected manganese and iron ore unit will have an iron ore production capacity of 1.545 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) and a manganese ore production capacity of 0.11 MTPA. The project will cost 96 crores. The ore will be mined in the Laserda-Pacheri region and processed at the unit.

 The project is projected to employ approximately 500 people directly and approximately 1000 people indirectly. The project is expected to strengthen the region's economy and help meet the country's growing need for manganese and iron ore.
