Valence Labs planning to set up Active Pharmaceutical Manufacturing unit in Punjab

Valence Labs Private Limited intends to build a new active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) manufacturing facility in Jansui, Patiala, Punjab. The plant will produce APIs for a variety of pharmaceutical goods and will have a capacity of 1000 metric tons per year. The project is projected to cost approximately 205 crores and to be completed by 2026. Valence Labs is an R&D-driven company that specializes in the creation and manufacture of APIs. 

The company has a good track record of invention and has developed a variety of patented API synthesis technologies. Valence Labs' new Jansui plant will be the company's third API manufacturing facility in India. The remaining two factories are in Rajpura, Punjab, and Hyderabad, Telangana. Valence Labs' investment in the new Jansui plant is considerable, and it demonstrates the company's commitment to the Indian pharmaceutical business. 

The factory is intended to provide approximately 1000 employment and benefit the local economy. The new plant is expected to play a significant role in the growth of the Indian pharmaceutical industry and will help to make India a global hub for the manufacturing of APIs.

As of September 2023, The project is currently in the stage of being approved currently awaiting approval from the government.
