TIDEL Neo Park: A New Home for Tech in the Heart of Tiruppur

The newly inaugurated TIDEL Neo Park at Rakkiyapalayam in Tiruppur district is already attracting significant interest from IT and ITeS companies, following its formal launch earlier this week by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.

According to official sources, two companies have already occupied space in the 65,500 sq. ft. facility, together employing around 200 professionals. Developed under the TIDEL Neo initiative, this Mini IT Park is designed to diversify Tiruppur’s traditionally textile-centric economy by nurturing a vibrant IT and startup ecosystem.

Strategically located on a 1.77-acre site in Avinashi taluk, the G+7 building offers warm shell office modules, flexible layouts, and shared amenities—creating a plug-and-play environment tailored for IT/ITeS firms and emerging enterprises.

Once fully operational, the park is projected to support over 600 jobs, providing a major boost to regional employment and digital infrastructure. The TIDEL Neo model was conceptualized as an agile alternative to traditional SEZ-based IT parks promoted by ELCOT, which have seen reduced investor interest due to the SEZ sunset clause and operational challenges related to entry, compliance, and exit.

With early occupancies and growing interest, TIDEL Neo Park is poised to become a regional hub for technology-driven growth in western Tamil Nadu.
