The Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) has approved the construction of a new four-lane bridge over the Ganga, marking a significant development for Trans Ganga City. The decision was made during a board meeting led by UP Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh. This 1.8 km bridge will connect Kanpur to Trans Ganga City, enhancing regional connectivity and facilitating economic growth.
The project, with an estimated cost of ₹538.10 crore, is set to be completed within 36 months. In addition to the bridge, a network of access roads spanning 2.1 km will be constructed to ensure seamless travel and accessibility. The Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation will oversee the construction, ensuring that the project adheres to high quality standards and is completed on schedule.
Trans Ganga City, a burgeoning hub for industrial, residential, and commercial activities, currently offers 226 industrial plots and 38 commercial plots for development. The new bridge is expected to stimulate significant growth in the region, attracting investors, businesses, and new residents.
This infrastructure boost is anticipated to play a key role in expanding the economic and industrial landscape of Trans Ganga City, reinforcing its position as a prime investment destination.
