Vardhan Agro Processing Limited is coming up with a new Distillery Unit Plant Project at Trimali in Satara, Maharashtra. The project is expected to cost 75 crores and will have a capacity of 45 KLPD (kilo liters per day).
The new project will manufacture ethanol, which is a renewable fuel. Ethanol is made from molasses, a by-product of sugar production. Ethanol is used in a variety of applications, including as a biofuel, a solvent, and a chemical feedstock.
The project is expected to create new jobs in the area and boost the local economy. It will also help Vardhan Agro Processing Limited to expand its production capacity and meet the growing demand for ethanol in India and around the world.
As on November 2023, The project is currently in the stage of being approved currently awaiting approval from the government.
