VA Tech Wabag has secured a consortium order from United Water Supply Company of Georgia LLC to build a 19 Million Litres Per Day (MLD) wastewater treatment plant in Kutaisi.
The project, classified by the company as a ‘large’ order valued between ₹250–600 crore, marks Wabag’s entry into the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Georgian market. Funded by the European Investment Bank, the project involves developing a modern wastewater and sludge treatment facility in the country’s third-largest city.
The plant will initially have a capacity of 19 MLD, with provisions to scale up to 56 MLD in the future.
With this win, VA Tech Wabag continues to expand its global presence in water infrastructure and advanced treatment solutions.
