Deepak Nitrite is expanding its industrial footprint through its subsidiary, Deepak Chem Tech, with board approval for a ₹3,500 crore greenfield project in Dahej, Gujarat. Planned for completion by FY28, the capital expenditure will be funded via debt and equity. The facility will add substantial annual capacities—300 KTA of phenol, 185 KTA of acetone, and 100 KTA of IPA—building on the existing capabilities of Deepak Phenolics. By utilizing phenol and acetone output directly as feedstock for downstream polycarbonate resins, the initiative achieves strong backward integration, establishing Deepak Nitrite as a top-tier integrated producer in the market.
