Olive Hospitality, the hospitality arm of Embassy Group, has entered into an agreement with the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority to develop a network of approximately 2,000 branded hotel rooms across key destinations in the state.
The proposed development will span major tourism and business hubs, including Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Vijayawada, and Guntur, with an estimated investment of around ₹500 crore from third-party owners and investors. The initiative is expected to generate nearly 700 employment opportunities, contributing to local economic growth.
Under the partnership, the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority will support the project by facilitating approvals and clearances, providing access to identified land parcels and tourism zones, and extending incentives under the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Policy 2024–2029. The collaboration aims to strengthen the state’s hospitality infrastructure and attract private investment amid rising tourism demand across religious, leisure, and emerging destinations.
The agreement establishes a long-term framework for cooperation between Olive Hospitality and the state government to drive tourism growth, enhance visitor experience, and position Andhra Pradesh as a competitive destination in India’s rapidly expanding hospitality sector.
Commenting on the development, Kahraman Yigit, Co-founder and CEO of Olive Hospitality, said the partnership is aimed at accelerating the state’s tourism growth by creating a strong network of branded hospitality assets that enable more seamless, reliable, and scalable travel experiences, benefiting both travellers and investors.
