Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a greenfield agreement to launch its Gateway brand in the National Capital with the 158-key Gateway Dwarka, New Delhi.
The hotel will be located within The Omaxe State—India’s first integrated sports and commercial hub—spanning 50 acres in Sector 19B, Dwarka. Strategically positioned for excellent connectivity, the project is being developed in partnership with the Delhi Development Authority and is scheduled for completion by 2027.
The Omaxe State will feature a 4.2 km stretch of hybrid retail, over 40 dining outlets, five lakh sq. ft. of F&B and lifestyle zones, entertainment hubs, and world-class sports infrastructure including a 30,000-seater ICC- and FIFA-standard stadium and a 2,000-seat indoor arena.
Gateway Dwarka will offer a comprehensive hospitality experience with signature restaurants, a spa and wellness centre, 25,800 sq. ft. of banqueting facilities, and an exclusive Member’s Club.
Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “Gateway Dwarka, New Delhi will strengthen our presence in this high-growth micro market.”
Mohit Goel, Managing Director of Omaxe, added, “This is a visionary project, inspired by global benchmarks such as the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.”
This development marks a significant expansion of IHCL’s footprint in Delhi and adds momentum to the transformation of Dwarka into a modern urban destination.
