The Leela Lands in Coorg: A ₹560 Crore Wellness Milestone

Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts has acquired a luxury resort in Coorg for ₹560 crore, marking its foray into nature-led and wellness-focused hospitality.

The property comprises 71 villas spread across 76 acres, along with an additional 54 acres earmarked for future expansion. In the first phase, the company plans to add 19 more villas, taking the total inventory to 90 villas.

According to a regulatory filing, the resort is expected to generate stabilized revenue in the range of ₹165–₹175 crore, with margins in line with the group’s existing portfolio. The acquisition reflects the company’s strategic push into high-growth wellness and nature-centric tourism segments.
