HellermannTyton Plugs Into Chennai: New Mega-Facility Opens.

HellermannTyton, a global leader in cable management solutions, has inaugurated its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Oragadam, Chennai.

Spanning over 1,00,000 sq. ft., the facility is equipped with advanced injection molding technologies and digital-first operations to cater to the growing needs of the automotive and industrial sectors. The plant is expected to generate over 200 local jobs, reinforcing Tamil Nadu’s position as a leading manufacturing hub.

Alasdair Abercrombie Barnett, President – APAC, HellermannTyton, highlighted the company’s commitment to the “Make in India” initiative and its continued focus on investing in the Indian market. Strategically located near major industrial and automotive clusters, the new facility will serve as a key hub for operations across the Indian subcontinent, supporting both domestic and global customers.
