Legrand India has inaugurated its largest manufacturing facility in Nashik, spanning over 30,000 square metres, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion journey.
The state-of-the-art plant will manufacture a wide range of products, including busbar trunking systems, distribution boards, and industrial plugs, with a strong focus on addressing the rapidly growing demand from the data centre sector. The facility reinforces Legrand’s strategy to position India as a key manufacturing and export hub, with a portion of its output dedicated to international markets and plans to progressively scale up exports. It also strengthens Legrand India’s expanding data centre portfolio, including solutions from its recent acquisition, NetRack.
Designed with sustainability at its core, the facility features a one-megawatt rooftop solar installation, IGBC green building certification, and zero liquid discharge compliance—underscoring Legrand’s commitment to environmentally responsible manufacturing.
