The Government of Odisha secured investment intentions worth ₹48,330 crore during its first three-day investment outreach visit to Gujarat, as the state stepped up efforts to attract industrial projects across a range of sectors.
The delegation, led by Mohan Charan Majhi, conducted investor interactions in Ahmedabad, Mundra and Vadodara. During the visit, the state signed eight Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and received 63 investment intention proposals from companies interested in establishing projects in Odisha, according to an official statement.
Officials said the proposed investments have the potential to create more than 67,800 employment opportunities across the state. However, the government did not disclose the names of participating companies or provide a sector-wise breakdown of the proposed investments.
