Sagar Cements Hits 11 MTPA Milestone with MP Expansion

Sagar Cements has expanded its production capabilities with the successful commissioning of an additional 0.5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) cement grinding capacity at its subsidiary, Sagar Cements (M) Pvt Ltd (SCMPL), located in Jeerabad, Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. The newly operational unit marks a significant step in the company’s capacity expansion strategy aimed at meeting rising demand across its key markets.

With the addition of the new facility, SCMPL’s cement grinding capacity has increased from 1.0 MTPA to 1.5 MTPA. The expansion also raises the Sagar Cements Group’s total installed cement capacity to 11.0 MTPA, further strengthening its manufacturing footprint and market presence.

The enhanced capacity is expected to improve operational efficiency, support higher production volumes, and reinforce the company’s ability to cater to growing infrastructure and construction requirements, particularly in central and western India.
