Versuni India: 90% Made Here, Double-Digit Dreams.

Versuni India, formerly Philips Domestic Appliances, plans to increase its domestic manufacturing footprint from 70% to 90% within two years. The company aims to expand its market presence by increasing product penetration from single-digit to double-digit figures while exploring new categories.

Operating manufacturing facilities in Chennai and Ahmedabad, along with an R&D center in Chennai, Versuni India emerged after Royal Philips sold its domestic appliance business to Hillhouse Capital in 2021. It was rebranded as Versuni in 2023 and continues to sell products under the Philips and Preethi brands as a Royal Philips licensee.

The company offers a diverse range of products, including kitchen appliances, ironing solutions, air purifiers, CCTV cameras, and vacuum cleaners. With the summer season approaching, Versuni India is focusing on juicers, enhancing user experience with innovations like easy-clean technology.
