Voltamp EHV Plant on Track for 2026 Launch.

Voltamp Transformers is progressing on schedule with the construction of its new EHV power transformer manufacturing facility in Jarod, Vadodara, which is slated for completion by June 2026.

In its first phase, the plant will have an annual capacity of 6,000 MVA, supported by a total capital outlay of ₹200 crore funded through internal accruals. As of 8 November 2025, the company had invested ₹82.82 crore in the project. Voltamp also recently achieved a key milestone by producing its highest-rated transformer to date—a 160 MVA unit—ahead of schedule.

The company’s FY26 order book remains robust, with orders worth ₹1,377 crore already secured. While maintaining a focus on profitability and reliable execution, Voltamp is optimistic about continued strong demand for transformers, driven by ongoing grid expansion.
