Adani & Jabil Unite to Launch Mega AI Infrastructure Hub in India

The Adani Group and US-based manufacturing services provider Jabil Inc have announced plans to establish a strategic alliance aimed at developing a large-scale artificial intelligence (AI) and data centre infrastructure manufacturing platform in India.

The proposed collaboration seeks to leverage Adani Group’s strengths in infrastructure, energy, logistics, and data centre operations alongside Jabil’s global engineering and advanced manufacturing capabilities. Together, the companies aim to create a vertically integrated ecosystem for the production of AI-ready data centre hardware within the country.

According to the companies, discussions are underway to finalize the operational structure and documentation required to formalize the partnership.

A central objective of the alliance is the development of multi-gigawatt manufacturing capacity for high-density AI racks and associated computing infrastructure. The platform is expected to manufacture next-generation liquid-cooled AI racks, servers, storage solutions, and networking equipment designed to serve hyperscale data centres, colocation operators, and enterprise customers.

The initiative comes at a time when global demand for AI infrastructure is rising rapidly, driven by increasing adoption of generative AI, cloud computing, and high-performance computing applications. With India emerging as a key destination for digital infrastructure investments, the proposed partnership aims to strengthen the country’s position in the global AI and data centre value chain while supporting the growing demand for advanced computing technologies.
