Birkenstock Surpasses 50 Stores in India with Mumbai Expansion

German footwear brand Birkenstock has surpassed the 50-store milestone in India with the launch of three new outlets in Mumbai—at Phoenix Palladium, Phoenix Marketcity, and Sky City Mall, Borivali.

With these additions, Mumbai now hosts eight Birkenstock stores, reinforcing the city’s role as a key market. The success of its 2024 flagship store in Mumbai has accelerated the brand's expansion. At Phoenix Palladium, customers can explore the latest Spring/Summer collection, including signature styles like ARIZONA, BOSTON, GIZEH, and MADRID, along with exclusive 1774 premium products.

Other Mumbai locations include Linking Road, R City Mall, Nexus Seawoods Mall, Infiniti Mall, and the T2 International Departures Terminal.

Vinay Bansal, Managing Director of Birkenstock India, highlighted the brand’s strong momentum in Mumbai, citing its wide consumer appeal and the city’s dynamic retail environment. The expansion reflects Birkenstock’s strategy to meet rising demand and solidify its position in India’s organized footwear market.
