Delta Ports Brings Autonomous Vision to Mormugao Operations

Delta Ports Mormugao Terminal, managed by Mangalore-based Delta Infralogistics (Worldwide) Ltd, has officially started operations at berths 10 and 11 of Mormugao Port. This milestone follows the signing of a 30-year concession agreement on December 14, 2023, under a public-private partnership (PPP) framework.

The operations were officially launched on April 4, with Mormugao Port Authority Chairperson Vinodkumar Nair ceremonially initiating the harbour cranes' first move.

Looking ahead, Delta Ports is also planning a pilot project to incorporate autonomous vehicles into its operations, aiming to enhance safety and operational efficiency through cutting-edge technology, as announced by the company.
