Engineering firm Dilip Buildcon announced that its joint venture, DBL-RBL (JV), has secured the lowest bidder position for a ₹268 crore infrastructure project in Gujarat.
According to a regulatory filing, the contract covers the design and construction of the Ged barrage, along with protection works and related activities along the Sabarmati river stretch between the Hirpura barrage and Lakroda weir in Sabarkantha district.
The project will be carried out under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model, and includes operation and maintenance responsibilities for a period of 10 years. The construction is expected to be completed within 24 months.
The tender for this project was issued by the Narmada Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpasar Department, Government of Gujarat.
