Elista's New Home in India: A Rs 250 Cr. Investment in Kadapa

Elista, a subsidiary of the Dubai-based TeknoDome Group, has inaugurated its largest manufacturing facility in India with a Rs 250 crore investment in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh.

Spanning 1.32 lakh sq. ft., the facility has an annual production capacity of two million units. In Phase I, it will focus on manufacturing up to one million Smart TVs and one million LED monitors. The first export shipment—650 Smart TVs ranging from 43 to 85 inches and valued at Rs 2.55 crore—has already been dispatched to Dubai under the India–Dubai Free Trade Agreement.

Phase II of the project will expand production to include washing machines, dishwashers, and smart accessories.

The plant currently employs 200 workers, with plans to increase the workforce as operations scale. Strategically located near the Chennai and Visakhapatnam ports, the facility benefits from reduced shipping times—enabling delivery to Dubai within just five days.

The unit integrates advanced robotics and automation, robust quality assurance systems, rainwater harvesting, solar energy solutions, and a localized Smart TV interface offering regional content recommendations.

Elista aims to reach Rs 1,000 crore in domestic revenue within five years and targets global revenue of Rs 5,000 crore by 2028.
