Ferguson, a leading value-added distributor in North America’s ₹28.4 lakh crore (USD 340 billion) residential and non-residential construction market, has launched its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru, in collaboration with ANSR, a global leader in building and operating GCCs. The move marks a key milestone in Ferguson’s digital transformation journey and reinforces its commitment to enhancing customer experiences through cutting-edge technology.
The Bengaluru GCC will serve as a strategic innovation and operations hub, focusing on software engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), ERP, CRM, data science, analytics, and network operations. “This is not just about scaling technology—it’s about building a future-ready organization,” said Arvind Rathore, Acting Managing Director of Ferguson GCC. With over 50 associates already onboard, the centre is poised for significant growth over the next five years, including the establishment of key leadership roles.
Lalit Ahuja, Founder and CEO of ANSR, added, “Ferguson’s decision to launch its GCC in India is a strong signal of its long-term vision for technology-led growth and innovation.”
Rather than offshoring existing roles, the centre will complement Ferguson’s global development strategy by adding scalability, speed, and agility. It also creates high-impact career opportunities for India’s top tech talent, further embedding India into the company’s global innovation ecosystem.
