Flipkart Minutes to Establish 800 Dark Stores by End of 2025

Flipkart Minutes, the quick commerce division of e-commerce giant Flipkart, is set to significantly expand its footprint across India with plans to establish 800 dark stores by the end of 2025. The update was shared by CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy during Walmart’s annual Investment Community Meeting.

“We launched our own quick commerce product nine months ago with around 100 stores, and we’re already nearing 300. By year-end, we aim to hit 800 stores—that’s our vision,” said Krishnamurthy.

The expansion is backed by a ₹3,249 crore (approximately $382 million) capital infusion from Flipkart’s Singapore-based parent company, reinforcing its commitment to scaling rapid delivery services.
