Flowing Forward: Gradiant Expands Coimbatore Engineering Center

Gradiant has significantly expanded its Global Engineering Center (GEC) in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, doubling its local workforce from approximately 100 to over 200 skilled professionals.

This strategic expansion empowers Indian engineers to lead cutting-edge global projects focused on advanced water and wastewater technologies, as well as multidisciplinary project execution. The enhanced center will directly support Gradiant's surging project pipeline across critical high-tech sectors—including semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, and renewable energy—where the demand for sophisticated water treatment and recycling solutions is at an all-time high.

Demonstrating its execution capabilities in India, Gradiant recently delivered a state-of-the-art, integrated ultrapure water, recycling, and zero liquid discharge (ZLD) facility for a major US semiconductor manufacturer at their Gujarat site.

Looking ahead, Gradiant plans to further scale its engineering footprint in India over the next three years. By connecting Chennai and Coimbatore into a powerhouse engineering hub, the company aims to fuel international project delivery and further solidify India’s vital role in its global operations.
