HCLTech has partnered with Dolphin Semiconductor to co-develop energy-efficient chips designed to meet the rising demand for high-performance, low-power computing solutions.
As part of the collaboration, HCLTech will integrate Dolphin’s specialised low-power intellectual property (IP) into its silicon design workflows, enabling the development of scalable, energy-efficient System-on-Chips (SoCs). These next-generation chips will offer strong computational performance while significantly reducing energy consumption, making them suitable for applications ranging from IoT devices to data centres.
The partnership aims to address the growing need for efficient computing amid surging AI workloads, expanding data volumes, and increasing sustainability requirements. Both companies stress their commitment to delivering high-performance technologies that support environmental responsibility, helping enterprises remain agile and sustainable in increasingly complex and connected environments.
