Hettich, the German furniture fittings manufacturer, has opened a new manufacturing facility in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, strengthening its strategy to position India as a major global manufacturing hub.
The plant is Hettich’s first dedicated facility in India for producing undermount drawer runners and forms part of the company’s broader investment of approximately ₹2,000 crore in the country.
Spread across 25,700 square metres, the automated plant is located within Hettich’s 103,039 square metre manufacturing complex in Indore. The company stated that the new facility reflects its long-term commitment to the Indian market by combining German engineering expertise with local manufacturing, while also supporting exports and generating employment opportunities.
