IB Campus Expansion: DUAC Asks for Design Polish

Plans to expand the Intelligence Bureau (IB) complex in Chanakyapuri have passed initial conceptual evaluation by the Delhi Urban Art Commission (DUAC). The proposed multi-building project—comprising five structures including office blocks and a business center—must now undergo design refinements. The DUAC has asked the project architects to submit enhanced drawings addressing utility screening (such as AC units and rainwater pipes), full structural sections, and strict adherence to Lutyens’ Bungalow Zone norms before final approval is granted.
