IN-SPACe Invites Private Operators for Thoothukudi Spaceport

In a significant push toward commercialization, the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) has released an Expression of Interest (EOI) inviting private Indian enterprises to operate and manage the upcoming Small Satellite Launch Complex in Kulasekarapattinam, Tamil Nadu.

Scheduled for commissioning later this year, the facility will function as ISRO's second major spaceport. By transferring operational control to qualified private entities with large-scale project experience, IN-SPACe aims to accelerate private-sector integration within India's burgeoning space economy.
