Odisha in Talks with Centre for New Satellite Launch Centre

The Odisha government is in preliminary talks with the Centre to establish a new satellite launch centre in the state. Led by Science and Technology Minister Krushna Chandra Patra, the initiative aims to boost scientific research and education. To support this growth, Odisha also plans to build a Science Bhavan and expand existing infrastructure, building on current planetariums and science centres in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Rourkela.
