RailTel to Build Smart City Network for Nashik and Trimbakeshwar

RailTel Corporation of India has been awarded a contract by the Nashik Municipal Smart City Development Corporation to implement the City Network Backbone for Nashik and Trimbakeshwar.

The project entails the supply, laying, installation, testing, and commissioning of a high-speed digital network, along with comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) services. Entirely domestic in nature, the initiative is designed to strengthen digital infrastructure and support the Smart City transformation of both cities.

The contract is structured as a project-based engagement, with all work scheduled for completion by 31 December 2026.
