Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has approved the creation of an artificial lake at Sirhaul to help mitigate monsoon flooding and boost groundwater recharge. The 12-acre project, supported by Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh, is aimed at strengthening local water conservation efforts.
In addition, CM Saini has cleared a proposal for constructing an underpass near Millennium City Centre to ease traffic congestion. The ₹80-crore project is expected to reduce bottlenecks at key junctions and improve connectivity to the Delhi-Jaipur highway.
During a review meeting of the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), Saini also endorsed the upgradation of the Civil Hospital into a 400-bed facility, highlighting the need to meet growing civic demands while sustaining Gurugram’s economic growth.
