STT Global Data Centres India has strengthened its presence in India’s digital infrastructure sector through the acquisition of a strategic industrial property in Navi Mumbai for Rs 282 crore.

The acquisition comprises a 14,093 sq. mtr. land parcel along with an existing built-up area of 6,828 sq. mtrs. located within the TTC Industrial Area, one of Navi Mumbai’s prominent industrial and commercial zones. The property was acquired from Mumbai-based publishing services company Repro India through a Deed of Assignment executed on May 22, 2026.

The transaction highlights STT Global Data Centres India’s ongoing efforts to expand its data centre footprint in key urban markets amid rising demand for digital infrastructure. The deal attracted a stamp duty payment of approximately Rs 2.56 crore and was officially registered on the same day, according to property records.

Backed by Tata Communications, STT Global Data Centres India continues to invest in capacity expansion to support the rapid growth of cloud computing, digital services, artificial intelligence applications, and enterprise data storage requirements. The Navi Mumbai acquisition is expected to provide a strategic platform for future development and enhance the company’s ability to cater to hyperscale and enterprise customers across western India.

The investment also reinforces Navi Mumbai’s emergence as a leading data centre destination, supported by robust connectivity, industrial infrastructure, and growing demand for high-performance digital ecosystems.
