The Hartford's Global Tech Leap: A New Era of Insurance Innovation

US-based insurance giant The Hartford has inaugurated a new technology centre in Hyderabad in partnership with IT services firm Capgemini. The facility will serve as a strategic hub for engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation, and advanced technology development.

Designed to operate in a start-up-like environment, the centre will support rapid prototyping and cross-time-zone collaboration, complementing The Hartford’s existing technology hubs in the United States.

"We are advancing our digital, data analytics, and AI capabilities to deliver faster, more reliable, and personalized customer experiences," said Jeff Hawkins, Chief Data, AI, and Operations Officer at The Hartford.

The initiative is part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its global tech footprint and enhance customer engagement through cutting-edge innovation.
