Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) have joined hands with Dynamatic Technologies Limited (DTL) for India’s Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) project.
The collaboration brings together DTL’s expertise in aerostructures and subsystems, L&T’s engineering and systems integration capabilities, and BEL’s proficiency in defence electronics. This strategic partnership aims to strengthen India’s aerospace manufacturing ecosystem and accelerate the design, development, and production of the AMCA — the nation’s indigenously developed fifth-generation fighter aircraft.
The AMCA programme, led by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), represents a significant step toward achieving self-reliance in advanced defence technologies under the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative.
