The West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (WBHIDCO) has invited bids for the construction of the Mahakal Mahatirtha project in Matigara, Siliguri, Darjeeling.
The project aims to develop Mahakal Mahatirtha as a prominent religious and cultural landmark, with construction scheduled to be completed within 24 months from the commencement date. The work will encompass a range of construction activities to establish the necessary infrastructure for the site, enhancing its significance as a regional attraction.
The project includes a defect liability period of 36 months, commencing from the date of complete handover of all assets. During this period, the contractor will be responsible for addressing and rectifying any defects, counted from the date of handover by WBHIDCO or the date of completion of work, whichever is later.
The deadline for submitting bids is February 16, 2026.
