U-Sphere, the construction division of Kerala-based labour cooperative ULCCS, has announced its expansion into Karnataka with a planned investment of ₹1,000 crore over the next three years. The move marks the company’s first major foray outside Kerala and represents a significant milestone in its strategy to build a stronger national presence in the construction sector.
Bengaluru will serve as the company’s operational hub in Karnataka, where U-Sphere aims to tap into growing opportunities driven by rapid urbanisation, infrastructure development, and increasing demand for modern construction solutions. The company plans to address key industry challenges such as labour shortages, sustainability requirements, and the need for faster project delivery through its expertise in construction management and workforce deployment.
The investment is expected to support the development of innovative and efficient building solutions while contributing to the region’s infrastructure growth. By entering one of India’s most dynamic construction markets, U-Sphere aims to strengthen its market position, expand its operational footprint, and play a larger role in meeting the country’s evolving infrastructure and urban development needs.
