The Water Resources Department (WRD), Bihar has issued an invitation for bids for the modernisation of the Sone Canal System under the Bihar Water Security and Irrigation Modernization Project (BWSIMP).
The project involves the modernisation of the Western Main Canal, covering a stretch from 0.00 km to 7.10 km. The estimated cost of the work is Rs 241 crore, with a targeted completion timeline of 36 months.
The deadline for bid submission is 14 July 2025.
