Bids Invited: Gwalior's $350 Cr. 24x7 Water Supply Project.

Gwalior Municipal Corporation (GMC) has invited bids for the augmentation of the city's water supply system to enable 24x7 water supply in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme.

The project scope includes survey, soil investigation, design, and preparation of drawings for various civil, mechanical, and electrical components necessary to upgrade the city’s water infrastructure.

Key components of the project comprise:

Construction of RCC sump wells and pump houses

Development of four water treatment plants

Construction of 23 RCC overhead tanks and 3 ground-level water tanks

Installation of electric substations, along with HT and LT feeder lines

Laying of raw water gravity mains (NP4) and pumping mains (DI K-9) for both raw and treated water

Expansion of the distribution network and provision of house service connections

Augmentation of the existing distribution system linked to two dedicated tanks

Implementation of an automated PLC-SCADA system

The total estimated cost of the project is Rs 350.95 crore, with a completion timeline of 30 months.

The last date for bid submission is 4 July 2025.
