The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation – BMC) has invited bids for Package III of the Mithi River Development and Pollution Control Project.
This package focuses on flood mitigation and water quality improvement in the tidal stretch of the Mithi River. The scope includes the design, construction, and operation & maintenance (O&M) of tidal Dry Weather Flow Interception Facilities (DWFIF) and associated transfer sewer networks.
Key components of the project include:
Construction of a sewage pumping station, River training works such as retaining walls and service roads, Installation of gate pump systems at 18 locations, Associated civil and infrastructure works
The selected contractor will be responsible for the O&M of all facilities for a period of 10 years on a lump sum basis.
Bid submission closes on 19 September 2025.
